Executive Sales Director, – Telecoms, MSOs & Streaming Media

Beamr is successfully serving leading Telecom/MSOs, Streaming Media, Cloud and Infrastructure companies. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to senior business and technical executive levels at tier one cable, satellite, telecoms and television network companies. Experience with tier-one OTT streaming platforms and 2nd screen-mobile video delivery is a major plus. The candidate should have deep knowledge of broadcast, cable and satellite technologies, and master the processes of vendor and product selections. A successful candidate must be able to articulate the business and technical benefits of Beamr’s technology and products.

The candidate should posses a track record for reaching sales targets with a demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and close deals. Candidate is expected to be an independent, self-managed territory manager, as well as a strategic team member of the company sales and go-to-market global operation.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years sales & sales management experience, selling video solution to MSOs, telecoms and satellite providers.
  • Profound knowledge of video encoding, video distribution and VM computing platform.
  • Proven track record of consistently reaching sales targets with a demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and close deals.
  • Proven ability to assess client’s critical business and technical needs and address through Beamr’s products and services.

Senior Software Engineer, Application and Services

Job Description:

Beamr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help build the world's best video optimization tools.
This is a senior role, focused on designing and developing new features and maintaining our software On-Premise and SaaS solutions.
Successful candidates will have knowledge and experience in software development in Python with Linux experience, and some knowledge of video formats and protocols.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other team members to architect and design components of our On-Premise and SaaS solutions.
  • Design and implement the company’s Applications and SaaS-Systems using video and algorithmic building blocks developed in-house as well as open-source technologies.
  • Shared responsibility for development and operation of the Beam Video cloud SaaS products.
  • Interact and communicate on a daily basis with the software development and QA teams.
Required Skills:
  • At least 5 years of software development experience - a must
  • At least 2 years of experience in Python - a must
  • Significant experience with development in Linux environment – a must
